Each team or department strives to reach this overarching objective. In Risk Operations we work together in order to ensure that our merchants do not have to worry about being menaced by financial crime. We monitor, surveil, analyse and assess the financial flow in order to ensure that our Company is being used for the right and not the wrong reasons! As iZettle grows we too must ensure that new products and services are tested and hardened to the exhausting range of threats and risks posed by financial criminals. We are looking for someone to join our Risk Operations Team (ROPS) as a Junior Risk Analyst (JRA). What does that mean?Junior Risk Analysts (JRAs) are entry-level members of the ROPS team. JRAs are expected to quickly learn central operational tasks, become proficient at investigating cases of suspected financial criminal activity as well as provide new energy and vigour to our team. New candidates are recruited due to their character, temperament, intelligence and ability to bring a fresh perspective and focus to the existing organisation. Along with Senior Risk Analysts and Risk Analysts, JRAs are required to carry out core operational requirements that form the mainstay of ROPS. Once you have mastered the fundamentals it is up to you to make your mark! You will be expected to think big and bold. We aim to innovate and always move forward, regression does not suit us! It is very important that we always improve upon our existing systems and procedures. Come to us with an open and problem-solving mindset. Be prepared for your ideas to be criticised, dissected, supported and then developed into a system or product. We throw our JRAs into the deep end but don't worry we have plenty of lifejackets to spare!At the end of the day you will be joining a group of accomplished, driven and fun individuals who come to work each day because they enjoy it!
