The position will be located in Stockholm, Sweden.
Role:
Hardware Engineering includes system design, analysis, functional decomposition, architecture definition, specification, implementation, definition, execution and documentation in the area of industrial real-time embedded products.
The Junior HW Engineer role will be part of HW-development and HW-maintenance of industrial real-time embedded products for wayside signalling with highest fail-safe requirements & reliability in harsh operational environments.
Key responsibilities:
• Electronic schematics and PCB design
• Simulation and modeling
• Design and implementation of tests and test setups
• Reliability analysis
• Appropriate documentation on all required levels pertaining to both product and production.
Master?s or higher degree within Electronics Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Industrial);
• 1-3 years of relevant previous work experience within the field
• Experience working with: power design (SMPS, Isolated converters, Transformers, etc.), analog design (Analog filters, ADC, DAC) and high speed digital circuits
• Any of the followings may be a plus: design with High-end CPUs (ARM, PowerPC), design with FPGAs (Xilinx, Altera), EMC (design for, compliance tests and troubleshooting), PCB Design for the mentioned areas, high speed circuits (DDR, PCI-E) and simulation (e.g. PSpice, Ansys)
• Complete fluency in English;
• Analytical, innovative and self-propelled person;
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
