WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking a talented individual passionate about women's fashion and trends! Your responsibilities will include technical sketching, designing women's jersey wear, assisting in fittings, and managing the design aspect of sample follow-up. You will contribute to developing collections sold globally across all H&M markets and omni channels. This role demands high energy, creativity, and a fresh perspective.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will assist the Product Designer and collaborate with a team of Designers, Product Developers, Planners, Pattern Makers, and a Product Manager. You thrive in a team environment and aim to provide diverse markets with the best products. Your focus will be on Jersey products, demonstrating a strong fashion sense with commercial awareness. Maintaining a high fashion sense for style and trends while being cost-conscious is crucial. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow from your current design level and learn from our global team. Adaptability, good communication skills, and a flexible attitude are essential!
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with:
A BA/MA in Fashion/Textile Design or equivalent experience
1-2 years of experience as a JR Designer/Assistant
Proficiency in Illustrator; 3D CLO experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and material knowledge
Experience in creating specs and technical files
A keen eye for fashion with a visionary mindset and passion for women's fashion and trends
A customer-focused and commercial mindset
Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude
Highly organized and structured work routine
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
A quick learner with strong self-drive and initiative
Fluency in English (Swedish is not required)

This is a full time 1-year temporary position is based in Stockholm, to start in June 2025. You will report to the department Assortment Designer
