Are you our new Junior Business Controller?
The Westermo Finance team currently consists of 6 finance professionals. The Finance team is a highly competent, supportive and flexible team, who continues to challenge and develop the organization in many different ways.
In this role, you will be coordinating financial matters and interfaces with both local, internal parts of our company, but also our global sales offices and our global subsidiaries within the Westermo Group, and our owner Beijer Group.
As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the global sales units from a financial perspective in terms of overseeing the reporting, financial performance and financial analysis. You will also be responsible for global sales units monthly closing activities including reporting to Group consolidation. You will have your own responsibilities yet working close with both your manager and colleagues for support and guidance.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven person with some business controlling experience to join a future oriented and sustainable growing business.
Examples of your tasks:
• Monthly financial closings, ensuring accurate financial results.
• Analyzing financial performance and propose actions to improve profitability
• Upload monthly financial information to the corporate system and reconcile Trial Balances to the consolidated reports.
• Work with other Business Controllers in Sweden and abroad
• Prepare financial materials, analyses and reports.
• Support a good internal control environment in order to protect Westermo Group assets and to make sure that financial reporting and accounting matters are in accordance with Group Financial policies and local statutory accounting practice
So, who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is motivated by this opportunity to grow into a Business Controller role in a global environment. Maybe you have a background in audit, or a similar junior business controller role. You are meticulous, quality focused and have a high sense of integrity. You enjoy working in a team and are a good communicator, both verbally and in written.
Requirements:
• Bachelor or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience (1-3 years) of related business controlling, preferably from an international company
• Strong proficiency with office productivity applications (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Share our central values like high quality standards, honesty and business integrity
Meritorious:
• Experience with IFS and AARO system
• Ability to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously
• Great organizational skills and attention to details
• A strong analytical ability
