Junior Accountant to Bio-Rad Laboratories in Solna Strand
Are you in the beginning of your career in economics and looking for an opportunity to build a great foundation of accounting? Do you have knowledge of accounts payable? Then this employment could be something for you!
We are looking for a junior accountant to our customer Bio-Rad Laboratories that is located in Solna Strand with facilities with easy communication. You will be a consultant of First Reserve with beginning as soon as possible and the duration of the assignment is 12 months with a chance of extension.
Work tasks:
You will be a part of the finance department consisting of 5 colleagues, and you will be responsible for the external accounts payable. This means your daily work tasks include:
• Processing accounts payable
• Scanning and emailing invoices and collecting approvals
• Preparing payments for vendors
• Monthly and quarterly accruals
• Preparation of the Management Accounts, monthly and quarterly regarding accounts payable
• Reconciliation of bank transactions relating to accounts payable
• Preparation of audit files related to accounts payable
• Backup to accounts receivable
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with post-graduate economics education and at least 6 months experience of accounts payable. You should have good accounting skills, and it's preferred if you have experience of working with multinational business and economical reporting.
As a person you should be a social and modest team-player that has no problem with having flexible work tasks and staying productive under pressure. We expect that you have good knowledge of working with Excel and other ERP systems. This vacancy requires fluency in both written and spoken Swedish and English, since it includes national and international communication. We also see it as a merit if you have an understanding of Finnish.
