As IT Support Engineer for Cytiva at our facilities in Uppsala, Sweden, you will work with users and business units on site to provide support for both personal and shared IT functions. This includes supporting services for applications, clients as well as equipment in validated lab, warehouse and manufacturing environments. As IT Support Engineer, you will be part of a local IT team on site but will also work closely with our central teams and our sites in Umeå, Sweden and in Muskegon, US where we have the same type of environments and applications. This role will report to the IT Manager in Uppsala.
Your work will be performed at location on the site in Uppsala with limited opportunities to work remotely. Work will in majority be conducted during office hours but there will be limited occasions where work needs to be performed during unsociable hours or weekends.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Support
Handle incidents / problems, providing support for associates both on-site or remote by handling support tickets in ServiceNow.
Work as an extension of the global support and operations teams.
Manage service-requests, including the staging and provision/ordering of IT equipment, supporting local team, etc.
Work in the local Helpdesk (Tech Lounge) and on the floor at location by the business units.
Provide support services for personal IT, shared IT, applications and validated environments in lab, warehouse, and manufacturing environments.
Assist and work together with the IT infrastructure team, assisting with tasks related to the network and hosting environments.
Learn and stay up to date with solutions within the service area and according to local initiatives and the roadmap from global IT.
Provide guidance and give instructions to end-users.
Collaboration
Interact with global IT teams and colleagues in Uppsala, Umeå and Muskegon, US.
Communicate, orally and in writing, technical information to audiences at all levels of the organization
Changes and projects
Assignment and participation in IT projects
Be part of performing changes to the supported functions, implement and test changes
The essential requirements of the job include:
Several years of documented experience providing IT support services.
Proven competence in client environments, specifically the Microsoft suite including Windows, Office and Teams, antivirus and software distribution.
Experience with staging and deployment of clients.
Experience working according to ITIL processes, incidents, and service-requests in a structured support system.
Fluent in English.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Asset management
Different applications and services
Mobile device management / Microsoft Intune
Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft MECM
Microsoft Office 365
Network fundamentals
Projects specifically related to rollouts and OS upgrades
ServiceNow
Voice over IP & telecom
Experience from providing support in pharmaceutical, manufacturing and laboratory environments
Technical certifications and trainings
