The Nordic Sales and Marketing Organization is headquartered in Stockholm, with support of the offices in Copenhagen, Helsinki and Trondheim.

The Service Support Analyst provides second Line-support for incidents using BD standard processes. This means providing effective solutions within agreed service levels in order to ensure operation of the company?s client computing environment. The position is also responsible for ensuring the compliance of all computers to BD's client computing security standards.

Main duties:

To provide 2nd Line support to Nordic countries. Resolving all incidents and problems reported via the global 1st line service desk and manage them to closure within agreed service levels in order to ensure optimal performance for BD.

You must be process driven and have the ability to prioritize and schedule work effectively in order meet the strategic objectives.

You are responsible for maintaining/executing inventory of all client computing hardware of the specified sites in accordance with policies.

Monitors and maintains workstations in order to ensure IT Security compliance.

Provides IT induction training (primary or backup) to end-users to ensure an efficient and effective use of provided hardware and software.

Act as the primary backup for other IT Service Support Analysts in the region where required

Responsible for procuring hardware and software as required.

Be able to travel throughout Europe as and when required.

Must be highly motivated, have attention to detail with a desire to succeed

Knowledge & experience:

Working knowledge of packaged applications such as MS Office including MS Outlook.
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Working knowledge of Lotus Notes.
Working knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals.
Good knowledge of LAN/WAN environment
Fluent English Language skills
Remote support Tools (CISCO VPN, Teamviewer)
Basic knowledge of server backups/restores/shares.
Blackberry enterprise experience.

Educational experience:

University degree
MS certified

This position is located in Stockholm at our office in Liljeholmen. You will spend most of your time at the Stockholm office, but you will also be able to travel to our office in Copenhagen and Helsinki, and probably also to UK.
