Your future challenge
The Digital Solutions and Services (DSS) group within GIS is driving the evaluation and development of technologies and platforms that will become the backbone for the company's connected products and customer-facing IT offerings.
The IT Product Development Manger will help shape the future DSS IT Strategy and Roadmap and work closely with the business teams to come up with new innovative solutions. You will also act as the program manager for all the DSS solutions and services.
This position requires some travelling both in Sweden and abroad.

Global Information Services offers a dynamic workplace with a clear agenda to develop a global organization in line with large scale changes both within IT and the business. The DSS department is designed for rapid deployment of IT services with purpose to empower Husqvarna Group customer experience of our products with IT. The department will both develop and deliver standard back-bone solutions and services as well as design and execute specific project. Project managed in this department will focus on System of Innovation in need of rapid and agile development, scalability and focus on Digitalization of products and processes.
Your role
• Working with multiple teams to push the development and deliver new digital service and features for our customers
• Work closely with application engineers and other teams to ensure business needs are met without compromising long term platform health and evolution.
• Build, lead, and coach multiple teams throughout product lifecycles.
• Assess and secure that all high priority risks are resolved as they are encountered
• Continually update relevant business stakeholders of product status and periodically publish status reports
• Facilitate technical roadmap development and help shape the overall vision for existing and digital platforms
• Validate financial forecasts and provide on-going reconciliation of resources and other related product and service expenditures.
• Safeguard the brand by ensuring solid focus on security and compliance for the digital services offering.
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to meet end to end quality goals and achieve customer delight.
Who you are
• A strong track record of on-time project delivery for large, cross-functional projects, preferably in mobile platforms or E-commerce domain.
• Experience in developing Technical / Digital strategies and roadmaps
• Deep understanding of critical security needs of Digital services and features
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
• Relevant software engineering experience
• Experience leading software development projects with aggressive schedules
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders.
• Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
• Capability to create a strong business and technical vision and drive a team towards that vision.
• Create, maintain and disseminate information to stakeholders.
• Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
• Expertise in delivering projects with agile methodologies
