Who you are
Who are you?IT Business Engagement is the link between Demand for IT and IT Supply. In this role, you combine a deep understanding for our business with a broad IT knowledge, which makes it possible for you to drive a constructive and innovative dialogue between business and IT. Your communications skills are excellent and you build strong networks throughout the organization - both within the business and within IT - thus facilitating the process of addressing business needs for IT. Through your business focus you are also well experienced in financial matters and in structuring assignments and projects in a pragmatic way in close cooperation with both business and IT stakeholders. Through your excellent leader skills and extensive experience, you coach and support your team of Business Relation Managers (BRM) to successfully fulfill their task to support business both in structuring and qualifying their demand for IT, as well as defining and set-up IT solutions for defined demands. As a leader, you are persistent with a long-term mindset and commit to responsibility.
About the jobYour mission together with your team will be to:
control the total Corporate IT delivery to ensure its alignment with business needs, its financial management, and its strategic fit;
actively manage customer expectations to achieve customer satisfaction;
act as two-way communication channel between Corporate IT and the Business.
add value by understanding the business and support in structuring and qualifying IT Demand.
As manager for IT Business Engagement you will report to the CIO and be part of the Corporate IT management team.
What you knowYou have, through knowledge and a long experience both within IT Demand and IT Supply, built a professional understanding for business processes and how to meet identified business opportunities with appropriate IT solutions, which are both cost efficient and sustainable. You are expected to efficiently handle complex scenarios, including the ability to analyze, evaluate, implement and act in a global environment together with many stakeholders. You are both future oriented and pragmatic - and your natural sense of humor will affect our stakeholders and your department positively. With strong leadership, you will have full responsibility to lead, manage and develop the department including organization, roles, staffing, competence, skills, culture and behavior.
