Location: this role can be based in any of our 4 locations: Sweden - Stockholm or Landskrona, Ski - Norway, Krakow - Poland
Our fast-growing business area Hospitality within ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is seeking a talented and experienced Solution Architect to join our team. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions to meet our growing business needs. You will work closely with our development team, system architects, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Role and Responsibilities
Design an end-to-end IoT solutions architecture that will address current and future business requirements ranging from data collection sensors, equipment, or appliances at the edge all the way to integration with enterprise applications and systems.
Design and implement innovative new technology solutions that align with the ASSA ABLOY's business goals and objectives.
Evaluate existing systems and technologies to identify areas for improvement together with recommending and driving architectural change if needed.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders on technology solutions, architecture, and best practices.
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to system design, setup, configuration, and processes.
Stay current with emerging technology trends and suggest new solutions to enhance the company's performance.
Lead the architecture forum with system architects from other teams
Drive technical due diligence to support M&A team
Requirements
At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Solution Architect, industrial products or, IoT cloud and data architectures, telematics and sensor data acquisition and aggregation, IoT data and analytics and AI/ML specific to customer facing digital services.
Expertise in designing and implementing scalable and secure solutions in cloud environments.
Experience with IoT based wireless technologies such ZigBee, BLE, etc.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies and experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and on budget
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
Relevant certifications in AWS or Azure are a plus
Experience in M&A and in the hospitality industry is also a plus
