hela Sverige We are now looking for a Finance Director International. This person will be the key person in the management of the financial governance for Tele2's International businesses. The goals for this role is to deliver the best financial value in coordination with the EVP International. This includes driving transformation and performance improvements initiatives and increasing synergy, knowledge sharing and connectivity across the Finance teams working in the countries.
In this role the International Finance Director will work on a daily basis with the EVP International on key international opportunities and challenges. Candidate will also work with a matrix organization where local CFO will report to this role on a dotted line basis. This person will be part of part of the International Business unit alongside the EVP International but also a member of the Group Finance Leadership Team on a dotted line bases and will for instance take part of the monthly Finance leadership meeting. This person will not have direct reports as such and should be comfortable in influencing and lead based on experience, drive and commercial, financial and people wisdom. This person will also take responsibility to run Transformation programs which might include M&A projects, cost reduction or operational excellence initiatives.
We are looking for a strong leader having experience in mainly financial leadership, preferably within a multinational company. The candidate should have a strong track record in driving change projects. Further, this person is flexible, self-motivated and result oriented individual with strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Telecom experience is a plus.
Areas of Responsibility:
• Responsible for key financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting and reporting for the 7 countries.
• Responsible for preparing and / or presenting for the Tele2 Leadership team the financial and operational KPIs on a country by country, cluster or international aggregate levels.
• Drive key improvement initiatives at a country or country cluster level
• Ensures Tele2 countries drive continuous improvements and initiatives regarding their cost base and ensure we set the benchmark in international cost benchmarks
• Ensures we maximize the value of International functions delivered to the local countries in the areas of purchasing, tax and audit and Shared Operations
• Thanks to his / her detailed analysis and recommendations increases the financial value of the combined 7 countries
This is what you have:
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proven track record of working both in details and the wider strategic themes
• Accounting and finance education is a must
• At least 5 years' experience as a CFO or in a senior financial position
• M&A experience including potential experience in IPO / PE
• Proven track record of leading some Transformation Programs
• Experience working with financial system eg Oracle, A+, Hyperion, Cognos is needed
• Flexibility to significantly travel and good communication skills as this position involves coordination with colleagues in 7 countries
• Proven record of international management and leadership roles will be considered as an advantage
• Fluency in English and international culture
• Capable of following several key projects in various countries
• Capable of focusing on details as well as seeing the high level picture (zoom in and zoom out)
