Do you want to contribute?
As Integration test engineer, you will cooperate with different Product Owners (PO) and their teams, in order to secure that we design a solid electrical platform. You will get the opportunity to develop skills outside of your field of expertise; you will brainstorm solutions with different stakeholders within base tech. You will work in an international environment, with a great variation in your daily tasks.
What you'll do
You will be responsible for the Base technology testing, with the purpose to secure all SW deliveries in a boxcar while focusing on Base technology requirements. You will work with both integration and system testing; in integration testing you verify compatibility between ECU hardware and ECU software, whereas system testing involves the complete vehicle such as Diagnostics, SWDL, Gateway and Communication etc. within the vehicle's electrical system.
You perform tests according to integration design verification method (DVM) in all Volvo Projects and support the entire team. You will have a tight communication with project leaders/ Integration leaders and need to, not only perform your own tests, but also to present them at CRB meetings. You will also be involved in automation and scripting as well as analyzing test results.
Do you fit the profile?
We see that you have a degree within computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. You have experience of PIE, KDP, VIDA, VCATS and DSA as well as in Python coding and automation. You are fluent in English and hold a B driver license.
We are looking for curious person, hungry to learn new skills and challenged by new technology. You should be structured, analytical and accurate in your work. Excellent communication skills and being a strong team player are strongly desired, as well as being pro-active and very much self-driven, with a positive attitude and ability to work also independently.
It is beneficial with previous experience from automotive industry as well as being certified from International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB).
