Publiceringsdatum2013-05-06Dina arbetsuppgifterWe are currently looking to recruit an Integration Area Coordinator.
The primary purpose of the Integration Area Coordinator (IAC) is to lead and co-ordinate the integration activities of a team which are responsible for a defined area of the vehicle during a development project The applicable areas will be either: Interior, Cab, under frame, Roof or Exterior.
• Ensure that all products in all respective integration area are physically integrated according to specification, within profile, with respect to all interfaces and within the weight budget and on budget
• Ensure that product and article requirements are captured, documented and released in ES, TRD/TRS and the technical documentation is done according to guidelines in PDM and VPM.
• Contribute to the overall interior layout and aid Procurement in choosing supplier and collaborate with Methods in DFA.
• For the validation, and in some cases definition, of requirements applicable to the Design Area(s) Answer to clause by clause.
• Lead the small team of engineers and make sure that project deliverables are met in time on budget. Support the team in their daily strive towards the goal and be a role model.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
• The ideal candidate holds a B.Sc or M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering with work experience from mechanical engineering ideally from the railway industry or with other relevant industries.
• Experience from rail industry, or other vehicle industry, is qualifying.
• Preferably experience with interior design of trains, busses, trucks, cars or similar.
• Experience in leading of smaller team is qualifying
• Good planning and organization skills
• The candidate shall have the ability to identify and mitigate risks in the design phase as well as to analyze and solve problems in cooperation with the system supplier and teams with internal specialists.
• Ability to logically analyze and manage complex situations.
• This position supports the business by providing correct and cost effective system solutions to the project organization.
• The work performed will influence the design, performance and cost of Bombardier products for their lifetime.
• The candidate shall have strong communications skills
• Be able to speak and write fluent English and Swedish be structured and be able to work independently.
