The new Infrastructure Manager (IM) will work in the area of integration infrastructure in our Platform team with executing operational plans, capacity management and act as a liaison with other platform teams in the IKEA IT landscape. The work is about run, maintain, life cycle and also to take part in compliancy and regulatory work which might affect our platform implementations. New demands will appear, and we need to be willing to adapt. We believe that you are a person who enjoys working with many parallel activities and you always make sure that we stay on track with delivering excellent integration platform services.
As a person you have a big interest in technology specific in Integration technologies like Oracle Fusion Middleware with Linux and Oracle Databases underneath to new and future way of distributing data in our landscape, on-prem and on Cloud.
To be successful in this role you have a proven advanced training in information technology, computer science or equivalent. We believe you have a minimum of 5-10 years of progressive and diverse experience in IT Operations. Furthermore, you have demonstrable experience of leading a technology Infrastructure operations teams. In addition, you have strong leadership and demonstrable experience in working in an Agile working set-up.
You have knowledge in following:
• deep knowledge within the IT infrastructure area, its roadmaps and life cycle management
• deep experience of managing and operating technology infrastructure operations and teams
• deep practical knowledge of IT operations principles and processes
• knowledge of information technology trends and directions
• solid understanding of the cost drivers in systems delivery and operations and the commercial consequences of the technical decisions made
• solid knowledge of the organisation and its strategies, processes and working methods

You demonstrate a combination of capabilities of a technical leader and an effective people manager, with the ability and credibility to lead and guide both in house and third-party teams. You actively acquire new knowledge and skills and champion new methods and processes to improve performance. In times of change and uncertainty, you have the ability to lead with the business goals and co-workers in focus.
ABOUT THE JOB
Main purpose for this role is to drive the delivery of cost-efficient and high performing technology infrastructure for integration platform, to support the running business and continuously drive improvements to ensure the infrastructure stays fit for purpose to meet new requirements. In addition to manage stakeholders across the organization and securing the adherence to IKEA processes, routines and methods for using the infrastructure.
You will:
• be responsible for the process and results of correct installation, administration, maintenance and retirement of the integration platform.
• be responsible for performance and capacity measurement, monitoring and management of all infrastructure
• prepare plans for maintenance, replacement and retirement when needed.
• maintain knowledge on infrastructure trends, recommending and advising on those that should be considered by IKEA. Building a case and plan for executing on these recommendations as needed
• drive implementation of developments of the infrastructure according to plan and maintaining a close feedback loop
• Take accountability for ensuring that life cycle management and capacity management of infrastructure services is planned and executed in all environments.
• monitor operations of the infrastructure to leverage technology to optimize operational workflow
• secure adherence to IKEA processes, routines & methods for using the infrastructure
• managing stakeholders across teams and functions to reach agreement on conflicting priorities
• work across initiatives within INGKA Group, steering towards an optimal performing infrastructure within the organization
In this role you will report to the Integration Operations Manager.
This role is located in Helsingborg/Älmhult, travel may be required.
