About this opportunity
Our sector, Product Integrity Services, provide Public Key Infrastructure management, Malware Scanning Services and Data Signing Services for Ericsson products across the company. Our organization is also known as EPPKI, Ericsson Product PKI.

For the services we provide, we have the full responsibility for the complete stack. This includes for example hardware installations, platform deployment, development and maintenance of services and finally, the operation of the same. We do this together with teams in Finland.

Due to growing need of integrity and authenticity, we need to expand our operation with an Infra & Platform DevOps Engineer in one of the XFT's in Stockholm/Sweden.

We are hosted in a Product Development Unit called Digital Production System (PDU DPS) which is one of the PDUs within Business Unit Networks (BNEW).


What you will do
Develop, maintain and to operate of the SW/HW infrastructure and platform service (e.g Firewalls, VMware Hypervisors and Linux guests)
Co-operate and support our own Application DevOps Engineers
Contribute to problem investigations and troubleshooting on service levels
Contribute to centralized access control development and operations for hardware / appliances
Contribute to new methods and tools strategy and related development for EPPKI platform
Contribute to hardware logging and monitoring (system and performance) development and operations
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
Be responsible for project documentation being accurate and informative
Communicate cross teams



You will bring
Bachelor/Master's degree in relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Some years of work experience of Operation of Infrastructure and Platform domain
Experience using hypervisors and virtualization, such as VMware vSphere product family
Experience of Linux (preferably Red Hat) and good scripting skills (Python and Bash)
Experience of network automation using Ansible
Experience of network and networking protocols like IPSec, Firewall, IPS/IDS, Proxy, DNS, NTP and SMTP, SSL/TLS
Good problem solving and interpersonal skills and possess a can-do attitude
Good team-collaboration skills and enjoy of sharing knowledge and taking initiatives that will contribute to team success
