Objectives:
As an Industrial Engineer you are part of the industrial engineering team in the factory. The overall scope of the position is to optimize operations, both machinery/equipment and work processes, embracing "EMS" (Electrolux Manufacturing System) to meet business and plant goals.
Key operational responsibilities
• Supervision of equipment installation . Definition of technical specification of equipment and tooling . Scouting technology innovation in the specific area . Ensure manufacturability of the products related the specific technology . Ensure a strong cooperation with technical purchasing & suppliers, maintenance and quality . Implement and follow-up improvement plans in safety, quality, cost and delivery . Continuously improve efficiency (equipment and productivity) . Participate in solving daily industrial issues . Support or drive industrial engineering projects in the plant . Network with other technical staff on site and within the global business
Competencies needed:
Education: . Bachelor/Master's degree in industrial engineering or equivalent.
Technical Skills: . Engineering experience from both the assembly and automated industry is a plus. . Knowledge of lean production (balancing, tools and methods) . Good IT knowledge . Good understanding of PLC systems . Good understanding of economics and its context
Soft Competencies: . Good communicational and presentational skills . Structured and with good documentation skills . Great analytic ability . A multicultural mindset with a great ability to adapt to change . Good co operational skills
