A key strategic objective is to enhance our products and ensure deliveries exceed client expectations. To accomplish this we are building our new Global Service Desk Organization and are now looking for an Incident and Problem manager to drive and develop this new part of the organization.
Your role and responsibilities
As the Incident and Problem Manager, you will play a significant part in delivering the next generation service-based technology to Nasdaq's clients around the world. A key objective for this new position is to build and improve Incident and Problem Management processes that ensure an effective and coordinated set of processes are developed and maintained across all services, suppliers and clients.
* You will coordinate rapid response to major incidents and problems, ensuring that appropriate action are taken to investigate and resolve them, with minimal downtime to systems and services.
* Responsible for the effective implementation of the process "Incident Management" and carry out the respective reporting procedures
* Establish continuous process improvement cycles where the process performance, activities, roles and responsibilities, policies, procedure, and supporting technology is reviewed and enhanced where applicable
* Establish and cultivate relationships with stakeholders to create and support the incident and problem management processes
What you will bring
* Proven track record in Incident and Problem Management, preferably working with Cloud based products/services
* ITIL experience
* Has a broad knowledge and understanding of IT concepts and architectures
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* A strong inner drive and adaptability, in addition you need to thrive in a fast changing environment
It would be great if you have
* University degree
* Financial industry knowledge
* Innovative and thoughtful leadership as a previous leader or striving to become one
