Join our dynamic and innovative startup as a part of our research and development team in Stockholm, Sweden where you'll play a vital role in developing groundbreaking molecular tools and advancing Spatial Biology research. We are currently a small team with big ambitions, if you are interested or have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
Key Responsibilities:
Define strategies for computational and software solutions needed for the new technology in development
Develop and implement efficient algorithms and pipelines for fluorescence microscopy image analysis
Actively seek feedback internally and externally, and explore options to bring most value to users
Collaborate closely with lab scientists and build streamlined analysis solutions
Actively participate in R&D activities and present findings in team meetings.
Requirements:
Masters with relevant industry experience, Ph.D / Postdoctoral in Bioinformatics, Computer Vision, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Prior experience with image analysis and visualization.
Familiarity with spatial omics technologies, datasets and viewers is strongly preferred.
Knowledge about machine learning and its application in object segmentation.
Ability to critically analyze complex data and communicate results to a multidisciplinary team.
Strong programming skills and good coding practices. Ability to write high-quality production code.
Familiarity with workflow management. Experience with developing and deploying pipelines and/or packages is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud computing.
Attention to detail, excellent organizational skill and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Up to date with the Spatial Biology field and/or computational biology field is strongly preferred.
