hela Sverige The production plant in Köping delivers transmissions to AB Volvo. Our site is the center of excellence within the area of transmission solutions and the 1500 employees work at our plant in Köping.
Our HR organization is responsible for a wide range of issues such as HR Business Partner Office, Safety, Competence Management, Environment and Communications, in total 16 employees.
We are now looking for a coworker who is driven to join us in our journey.HR Business Partners are the front-line providers of HR services to managers. Candidates for this position should have a broad understanding of HR and have a strong customer service mindset.
As a HR Business Partner you take the lead in identifying HR-related issues and implement HR activities that support the plant?s performance.
The HR Business Partner function in a generalist role, providing services within the whole HR scope and ensures that HR strategy and activities are aligned with and help deliver business goals.
Main Responsibilities:
• Translate business strategy and objectives into goals and ensure HR plans and tactics are aligned with the plants business demands and policies
• As a member of a management team in one or two plant units, you will take the lead in identifying HR business drivers that will influence the implementation of plant performance. You will also advise and support management teams and individual managers in all HR-related issues that drive performance and support managers in labor and employee relations, ensuring access to relevant data and HR analysis relating to hiring needs as well as work force planning
You will also work with:
• Talent and performance management related issues and tasks
• Coach and challenge managers according to the Leadership Pipeline competencies and philosophy
• Provide HR support to managers regarding rehabilitation and labor laws
• Coach Managers in the application of the Volvo Way principles
• Support managers and coordinate yearly processes such as VGAS (Volvo group attitude survey) and PBP (personal business plan)
Qualifications:
• Solid analytical skills and demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and creatively
• Strong coaching and facilitation skills that help drive transformation and change in the organization
• Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• English language required, additional languages a plus
• Ability to build relationships and networks
• Strong communication skills
• High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted initiatives in conjunction with day-to-day activities with minimum supervision
• Solid conflict resolution skills
• Broad knowledge of HR processes and policies
