The Role
Hoist Finance is now recruiting a Head of Risk Control to the headquarters in Stockholm. You will report to the Group Head of Risk Management and the Board of Directors and lead the work in the Risk Control Function. The group is responsible for analysing, controlling and reporting market-, credit-, operational- and liquidity risk for the whole group as well as assisting in interpreting new regulation with regards to risk-, liquidity-, and capital management.
The individual Hoist is looking for should be driven, efficient, ambitious and with a goal to continuously improve the risk control work and risk management within the group.
Tasks
Lead the work in the Risk Control Function including analyse, control and report risks to management and the Board of Directors.
Further develop and take responsibility for Hoist’s independent credit risk analysis efforts within the group
Take an active part in interpreting new regulation impacting Hoist Finance with regards to risk-, liquidity-, and capital management.
Independently review the ICAAP and ILAAP from a risk control perspective. Primarily evaluating if enough capital and liquidity is reserved in order to cover unexpected losses or liquidity outflows
Independently control financial reporting and asset valuation
Produce risk control reports to the Board of Directors
Assist in writing and updating policies and instructions regarding risk-, liquidity-, and
capital management
Background ?
You have a university degree in business administration, finance or engineering from a Tier 1 university or business school with an excellent academic record. We believe that you have 8-12 years’ experience from working with risk management and the debt purchasing industry. You should also have worked with credit risk modelling and credit scoring and have excellent quantitative skills.

You are proactive and self-driven as a person with the ability to network within the organization and communicate with others.
