Dina arbetsuppgifter
Purpose of the position
The Area Head of Logistics is responsible for the execution and profitable delivery of the Road & Rail and Warehousing & Distribution products within the Area.
He/She will work closely with Corporate Logistics Network / Warehouse Management & Procurement, and with Corporate Logistics Standards & Governance (Road & Rail and Warehousing & Distribution respectively)

The primary purposes of this role are:
i. To design, develop and grow the Logistics product in a profitable and sustainable manner in the Area, in accordance with instructions from Corporate Logistics. Takes the responsibility for P&L.
ii. To execute the global product and network / warehouse management and procurement strategy (Road & Rail and Warehousing & Distribution respectively) at Area level
iii. To execute the global Logistics standards & guidelines at Area level
iv. Building logistics capabilities in the Area. Support M&A, bring in the right quality of resources into the biz.

Logistics Operational Delivery (in cooperation with other Area Head of functions)
General Management

• Authorities as delegated by the Area Manager and Global Head of Logistics, in accordance with Corporate standards and guidelines

• Sound knowledge of the logistics industry

Educational background / Work experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the logistics
• Minimum 5 years of experience in people management and leadership, including recruitment, training & development, coaching, conflict and performance management
• Graduate degree (bachelor level)

Language skills
• Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)
• Other languages (written and spoken) preferred

Computer Literacy
• MS office skills and good knowledge regarding WMS systems
