Scania Financial Services (SFS) is serving Scania customers, dealers and distributors in some 55 markets through 15 business units (BU's) by offering competitive and innovative financing and insurance solutions. Over 950 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of more than 150.000 finance contracts representing around 88 bn SEK of assets. Furthermore SFS has built up an insurance portfolio of some 93.000 contracts.
The aim for SFS is to become a true and integrated part of the Scania Solution Sales offering by developing customer satisfaction and loyalty while adding values to the stakeholders and customer's customers when living the Scania Experience.
The Scania Financial Services group has since some years aimed towards a coordinated and harmonized IT environment globally and is now ready to make it happen with a data driven mindset. We are now looking for a source of inspiration to keep developing the group to continue the realization of SFS IT strategy.
Are you our new Head Business IT?
Then you are an experienced leader who can take initiative, drive and sustain improvements while being result oriented. You have several years of relevant experience of running business oriented IT. You have international experience of global system implementations as well as global digital transformation projects. To be successful in this role you need to be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business and must have a desire to develop and coach others. Working with us you will be a part of a team with highly motivated and energetic people in the challenging task of driving transformation within the Financial Services group.
Your Task
The main focus is to provide strategic guidance for your team as well as the head office management team. Further your role will be to make the master plan materialize as this will be an important step to ensure that Financial Services group reaches its vision and targets. You are a coach and a speaking partner for advising functional managers at central level as well as Managing Directors and local management teams when it relates to Information Systems & IT
Your Profile
We believe you are highly experienced and with a solid broad background within IT. You have a genuine interest in developing people and building competence through training and coaching others and a good interpersonal skills and skilled at building networks. You are a driven and result oriented person with high service level approach with a passion for driving business further. You will also be highly communicative, pedagogic and enthusiastic with a strong ability to lead change in processes and people.
Qualifications include:
• Relevant education or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience of working with business related IT
• Solid understanding or experience of coordination of global IT projects.
• Change management skills
• Leasing and financing business knowledge is a big plus
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Swedish desirable
• Managerial experience
The job offers plenty of international contacts with our Finance companies. This also means that you are expected to travel from time to time. The team consist today of 10 people with roles like project managers, business analysts, business maintenance manager, IT strategist and BI related roles. In this position you will be reporting to Operations Manager at Scania Financial Services. You will be located in Södertälje, Sweden.
