In order to succeed with the launch plan ahead of us we need to be pioneers in taking decisions based on deep strategic analysis from financial, product, and market conditions. For that reason, we are now looking for a CFO heading the controlling function for Scania R&D Asia, a strategic adviser with deep financial expertise
Job Description
As CFO for R&D Asia, you are responsible for setting the financial strategy - building on insights from the business context, stakeholder expectations, financial forecasting, and modeling based on internal and external factors. You will also be responsible for defining KPIs in order to create prerequisites for strategic steering of the R&D activities. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining investor relations and partnership compliance.
A significant part of your value to the organization is your ability to accurately predict likely future outcomes. You are also responsible for making sense of the various departmental-level forecasts to create projections for the management team. Having an eye towards the future, working closely with the management team, and having the ability to recommend strategic moves.
You will:
• Plan, implement and manage financial strategies and planning
• Determine finance KPIs
• Track and ensure organization spending is appropriate and sustainable
• Manage and retain relationships with various vendors
• Prepare current reports, Prepare and present forecasting reports
• Adhere to the law and company's policies
Your profile
To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to create your own conditions, and be one step ahead in terms of strategy and vision combined with a strong analytical ability and a strong will to achieve significant results together with the rest of the R&D team. You see opportunities when others see obstacles and get energy from the challenge. You need to be able to freely switch between details and a holistic perspective. You are probably an experienced leader with deep financial knowledge and a strong drive who has shown that you can handle complexity through simplicity and is inspired by this position since it will give you a platform to generate impact in Scania 's and Traton's Journey towards being the global champion.
• You have an MBA or MSc in Economics and Business Administration or comparable to this requirement.
• You have experience with similar finance assignments.
