The Environment & Chemistry function is supporting the whole Volvo group within the field of Sustainability*, Safe Handling & Transport of Dangerous Goods, as well as Fuels & Lubricants. We are a small team of experts handling various assignments which over time can vary largely. We are searching for a broad expert/engineer who can strengthen our competence in the total field of responsibility.

Core Responsibilities
• Actively work for that aspects of hazardous and dangerous goods are considered in product development & operations.
• Support the Volvo Group with expert knowledge regarding regulations on transportation of dangerous goods.
• Actively contribute in development work concerning hazardous/critical materials.
• Involvement in the development and implementation of new tools/methods within the sustainability area in product development & operations.
• Perform sustainability analyses such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and ---Environmental Impact Analysis (EIA) etc.

Qualifications
• Master of Science in relevant field.
• Knowledge and experience in the sustainability field, especially on critical -materials.
• Knowledge and experience of hazardous materials and dangerous parts.
• Experience from regulations on transportation of dangerous goods.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.
• Positive attitude and good collaboration, communication, and networking skills.
• Excellent knowledge in Excel is an advantage.
