During your Buying Student Placement, you will work in a team consisting of Buyers, Pattern Makers, Designers, a Business Controller and a Section Manager. Together you are responsible for identifying and developing new collections that will be sold in all our sales markets globally. You will share the responsibilities with an Assistant Buyer, and will be responsible for assisting the Buyer with daily tasks such as assortment planning, sample handling, follow up and monitoring orders, quantification of orders and to take an active role in the sales follow-up.
The H&M Head Office is based in Stockholm, Sweden, where we design and develop our fashion collections for a wide variety of customers. H&M is a dynamic workplace where high pace and rapid changes are a natural part of our everyday life. Good communication skills, a flexible attitude and capacity to adapt to changes are essential.
The Buying Student Placement starts during spring 2020.
H&M is looking for Buying/Fashion students who;
is currently studying for a degree in buying/fashion including a placement period of minimum 12 weeks. The placement must take place during your education period
has experience working within retail in the fashion industry
have a passion for fashion
are driven and sales oriented
are analytic and has a sense for numbers
values personal responsibility, common sense and teamwork
have a good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
What can H&M offer you?
A 4-6 months contract including the possibility of extension if both parties agree
A salary of 20 200 SEK/month before taxes

Insurance during your normal working hours at H&M
