Description
Perido is looking for a graphics engineer to one of northern Europe's fastest growing video game companies. The team which you will be a part of communicates in Swedish and English. The office is located in central Stockholm.
In the role of graphics engineer you will be a part of a small and agile production team that strives to maintain a cooperative and playful environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the graphics-related systems in an upcoming online game. It's important that you have an aesthetic eye - you will take responsibility for the entire graphics pipeline and work closely with the team's artists to ensure that the game delivers stunning visual quality.
We believe that you nurture a passion for game development, math and numbers. You are self-driven with a strong sense of quality. Excellent C/C++ knowledge and linear algebra skills, strong communication skills as well as a solid background in rendering are part of your resume. Competency profile
Required qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience from game development
• Excellent C/C++ knowledge
• Excellent linear algebra skills
• Experience with shaders, geometry processing and lighting
• Fluent in Swedish or English
Desireable knowledge/experience of:
• Third-party engines and/or software (Bitsquid, Unity, Unreal, Raknet, Havok)
• Platform limitations, cross-platform development experience
• Researching, developing and optimizing rendering techniques and systems
