Getinge Group is in an exciting and intensive period of change. To one of our three Business Category Units (BCU), Patient and Post-Acute Care (PPAC), we are now looking for a Global Solutions Manager. Our products and solutions are sold worldwide and you will be a key player as we are developing our future portfolio strategy. The position
The main objective for this position is to manage the Patient Hygiene Solution portfolio, specifically the showering product solutions and chemical cleaning products. You will be responsible for supporting sales companies and distributors in increasing profitable revenue and market share of these products. From within Global Solutions, you will interface with many different functions such as: Markets, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D, Strategic Marketing and Commercial Operations.
Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be to:
• Develop the segment's strategic direction and drive the execution
• Drive a customer centric approach
• Manage an agreed budget set for specific objectives
• Initiate and deliver Product Development Programs (PDP), relevant to Patient Hygiene Solution portfolio
• Manage the ongoing product stewardship
• Provide monthly reports on key segment activities
• Provide monthly financial reports on portfolio
• Communicate to and build constructive relationships with all relevant internal and external parties, suppliers, opinion leaders and customers
• Perform all activities in compliance with relevant Quality System standards and maintain post marketing surveillance information
• Interact with other business cultures and develop relationships in key markets
The position is based in Malmö, Sweden and you will report to the Director of Global Solutions. Since you will have a global scope, international travel is part of the role and estimated up to 35 % on an annual basis.
The ideal candidate
As ideal for the position you have 3-5 years of experience from a product management role, ideally in the medical device industry. Also you have experience of market analysis and customer research. You are competent at leading projects involving cross-functional teams and global markets. It is favorable but not essential that you have previous experience working within the medical hygiene sector. Further, we prefer you have an academic degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or similar. Being willing to undertake significant international travel is crucial for this position. Also, you have a high computer literacy (MS Outlook, web searching, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint) and a clear driving license. Fluent proficiency in English as well as Swedish is necessary in order to succeed in this role.
As a person you are an enthusiastic and self-propelled team-player who drives results and takes responsibility. Having strong sense of business acumen and influencing skills is important in order to succeed in this role. You are comfortable handling many different global stakeholders and you possess the ability to communicate efficiently with a wide range of people in all functions. A strategic mind-set and excellent problem-solving skills are also key factors. Additionally, you are motivated by working in a changing environment, making continuous improvements and you see this as an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our Global Solutions team!
