Deliver assurance is a function within Global Product Development (GPD) at Volvo Buses. We are responsible for leading solving of design quality problems. The main sites are located in Sweden, Poland, Mexico and Brazil. We want to make a difference by being there for our colleagues and our customers and by providing uptime and reliable products. Volvo Buses is now seeking an experienced Global Product Quality Manager who has the drive and passion to contribute to Volvo Buses customer's success. A person who sees that the key to success is to develop the organization and its people to meet future business challenges.
The group, with 14 project leaders and process improvers, is responsible for leading our solving of customer product problems. The project leaders are working with colleges from several different functions such as engineering, production, purchasing and service. In this position you will be part of the Delivery assurance management team and report to Vice President Delivery Assurance.
Job Description
Your main focus within this role is to deliver quality journal projects according to quality, delivery, cost and feature targets. Lead and report progress about quality journals in various fora. You will work cross functionally to solve our customer product quality problem as promptly as possible. You will define, agree, communicate and execute strategies and targets for the group. Working cross functional with other functions within busses to develop how we can make our products even better for our customers. However, your absolute most important assignment within the role is to develop effective teams were people take pride in being responsible for their complete deliveries.

Required Knowledge/Experience
To be successful in your new role we want you have passion for developing people, operations and product and taking advantage of the full diversity of the team. Your need to be eager to learn and work with your own development. Our business conditions are changing. To be successful over time you need to be a true believer in continues improvement- always building from a customer and performance perspective. The improvements should be based on true lean thinking. Further to be efficient in this role you have a technical background with a University degree in engineering or equivalent. Your daily work and your team will be in different parts of the world. To be successful in this set up you need to have great communication skills in English, spoken and written.
