The Inventory and Supply Planning department for Tools is responsible for supplying different types of cutting tools to our distribution centers worldwide, as well as for providing process support within the areas of inventory control and production planning. Our main challenges are to take full process responsibility for planning high-quality supply chains and logistics flows, and to improve customer services, optimizing stock availability, while ensuring that net working capital is improved and achieving the delivery targets set. We are currently looking for an analytical and result-oriented Global Inventory and Supply Planner to join us in Sandviken. Key performance areas
In this role, you are responsible for planning and inventory control for assigned production units and suppliers - a global effort, with stock locations worldwide. You manage this by translating the sales forecast to a production plan, monitoring and adjusting the stock parameters and levels to ensure the accuracy of customer satisfaction and KPIs. You work in close collaboration with our production units to create, analyze and adapt these production plans. You also actively build bridges between our stakeholders within production, global operations, product management and sales. The team also assist in product life cycle and manufacturing footprint change processes. Based on available facts and the knowledge of the team members, you use your holistic approach to suggest ways to improve and develop our internal processes with best practices and common ways of working.

Since we work in a global organization, occasional travel is a natural part of your job.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree or other education in logistics, preferably in Industrial Economics. You also have at least three years of previous work experience from logistics or supply chain management. If you have a APICS CPIM-certificate (Part 1) we consider that advantageous. If not, we will sign you up for a course and examination within your first year of working with us, as this certificate is mandatory in this role and line of work. Good IT skills in MS Office, especially Excel or Access, are needed to succeed, while experience of ERP systems is advantageous. As we work in an international setting, you are fluent in English, while skills in Swedish, or the intention to acquire them, are desirable.
