The objectives of the position are:

To manage the central negotiation with a portfolio of multinational corporations, and the coordination of supporting individual National Sales Companies, to win Global Supply Framework agreements, which then allow National Sales Companies and Dealers to supply cars at a national level.

To own the central relationship with a small portfolio of leasing and rental operators, to maximise our share of voice, coordinate cross-market opportunities and programs, and help shape how we manage these important customers at National Sales Company level.

The role may also incorporate more involvement with a cluster of EMEA National Sales Companies to support their performance and local sales activities.

As one of a team of four managers and three support personnel, the jobholder is a member of EMEA Fleet Operations, within Network and Business Development, EMEA, part of Volvo Car Group. The position will be based in your home country, working from the local National Sales Company headquarters, and reports to the Director EMEA Fleet Operations & Global Major Accounts.

Main Responsibilities
* Supported by the Global Fleet Business Centre, negotiate framework agreements
* Maximise profitable sales, with a joint strategy with National Sales Companies to deliver annual objectives (volume, process and activities)
* Identify new customers from prospecting, attending seminars and conferences
* Manage relationships with assigned global leasing, rent a car and fleet management companies
* Promote new products and services, and coordinate global initiatives with National Sales Companies
* Provide informed input and strategies to Fleet Development and other Volvo Car Group stakeholders
* Optimise the Volvo value chain and lifecycle earnings
* Support the Fleet Development team and National Sales Companies with global fleet events

Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years Fleet key account sales experience, preferably in international sales, with outstanding negotiating skills
* Education - Degree or equivalent
* Demonstrable track record of achieving/exceeding targets
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with business English
* High focus on delivering all objectives and able to 'own' all tasks to conclusion
* Ability to carry out frequent international travel and work away from home
* Developed global business understanding
* Knowledge of Volvo products, key competitors and the wider automotive industry
* Knowledge of German and French language is an advantage
* Ready access to an international airport offering regular and direct flights to the principal European cities, where the majority of our customers are located, is a strict requirement.
