The heavy-duty diesel future will be very interesting but also a demanding challenge. There is a need to take big steps in reducing CO2 (reduced fuel consumption) and comply with the even more restricted emission legislation. Further work with alternative fuels solutions will also be a part of this work and our future. Your mission:
In this position you will be supporting the Fuel Injection Team with the development of the Fuel Filter Module and the Fuel Filters. You will be responsible for the development of the components and be a part of a cross-functional team involving Purchasing, After Market and Operations.
As Global Component Responsible you will participate in different stages of the Product Development form the earlier development phases to the start of production and continuing to the product maintenance phase.

Key experience and knowledge for the role:
Master of Science or similar technical education
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Experience with component development with focus on Fuel Injection Systems
Experience of cross-functional operations and basic knowledge of the relationship between hardware and software, diagnostics and fault codes
Experience with project management as team member. Experience as Project Manager is a plus
Experience with product documentations: Legal documentation, Requirements, Product and Process Documentation, etc.
Agile methodology experience
If you also have experience from Volvo Group Trucks Technology Organization and specifically Powertrain Engineering that is considered a merit. We also consider it a merit if you have knowledge in systems and tools such as KOLA, PDMlink, Protus, Protom, Knox, EDB, Argus, Creo, Tech tool, JIRA.
