For our Sales team in the Nordic we are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager for Flavours for Food & Beverages.
From our Lund office we partner with customers in Denmark and Sweden. Also the Sales support team to support our customers in the Nordic region is based in Lund.

As a Key Account Manager in Givaudan, you will be working for a company that touches billions of consumers more than a hundred times a day. We are looking for a dynamic professional who can be a good addition to our innovative and team work culture and has a good knowledge of, and network in, the Danish and Swedish food industry. You will be part of the Benelux and Nordic sales team and report directly into the Sales Director of Benelux & Nordic.

Core Responsibilities
• Grow Givaudan business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines
• Proactively generate a broad base of new business opportunities
• Develop thorough understanding of customer potential through analysis of brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition
• Ensure Givaudan is well positioned to participate in targeted briefs and on core lists
• Manage large commercial projects in collaboration with our Flavour Creation and Application Teams in The Netherlands and Switzerland
• Assume lead role for all Givaudan activities for designated accounts
• Cultivate customer relationships with key decision-makers, positioning Givaudan as preferred supplier
• Develop, communicate and implement strategic account plans, sales forecasts, and budget
• Manage brief pipeline (quality and quantity of projects) to achieve growth plans
• Defend base business in key markets and with key customers
• Negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines and manage credit, pricing, rebates, etc.

Success Profile
• University degree, strong preference for Food Science
• Successful sales, marketing or customer relationship experience in the food or food ingredients industry
• Fluent in English and Swedish - Danish is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to apply strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting skills to develop account plans
• Knowledge of customers and competition in Denmark and Sweden
• Understanding of customer strategy, initiatives, priorities, launch processes, and how to position Givaudan offerings
• Possesses thorough understanding of profitability goals for key accounts
• Execute all account management steps in the brief handling process
• Generate new business by identifying customer needs
• Ability to build strong relationships with key customer decision-makers
• Team Player living within commuting distance to our office in Lund
