Are you passionate about automation and eager to tackle the challenge of building a world-class release pipeline? The AXIS OS Tools team is looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to help us improve how we automate everything needed to release AXIS OS.

We are a team of 32 passionate developers dedicated to improving the tools and services that empower the development of AXIS OS. Our main goal is to provide a seamless build, integration, and release pipeline for all AXIS OS developers at Axis. Organized into small, autonomous teams, we collaborate closely to ensure a great user experience.
The Axis toolchain is well-established, used by hundreds of Axis developers and handling daily releases of over 200 different products. We primarily use TypeScript, Go and Python, choosing the best tool for the job. We believe in automating repetitive tasks and take full ownership of our work. Our mission is to ensure that Axis can continuously deliver value and new features to the cyber-secure AXIS OS that our customers rely on.

What You'll Do Here
As a Full Stack Developer in our Release Tools team, you will:
• Take full DevOps responsibility for the tools and services within the release pipeline.
• Improve our release pipeline to meet new and evolving requirements.
• Actively participate in improving the complete AXIS OS pipeline in collaboration with other teams.
• Enhance cybersecurity and supply chain security, including developing and integrating tooling for vulnerability scanning and management.
• Collaborate closely with AXIS OS developers to understand their needs and improve our tools and services accordingly.
• Work closely with IT infrastructure and operations to optimize our systems.
• Improve our metrics and logging frameworks.
• Contribute to open-source projects.
• Work with container technologies, such as Kubernetes and Docker.
About You
We're looking for an open, creative, and pragmatic problem-solver who enjoys balancing long-term strategic thinking with the immediate needs of our users. You are motivated by new challenges and eager to learn, and you enjoy sharing your knowledge to help others grow. Like us, you value teamwork and contribute to a positive team spirit.
Ideally, you also:
• Have a few years of experience as a full stack developer.
• Are familiar with languages such as TypeScript, Go and Python.
• Have practical experience using Docker.
• Have experience deploying and hosting services in a Kubernetes environment. · Experience working with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions).
Bonus Points
• Experience using metrics to monitor and improve system performance with tools like Elastic/Logstash/Kibana, Datadog, and Icinga.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and methodologies.
