The role:You'll join a small, newly formed AI Enablement team driving hands-on AI initiatives across Hemnet: building prototypes, automating workflows, and experimenting with new product experiences powered by LLMs and agentic systems. This is a highly collaborative, exploratory role where curiosity, engineering craft, and delivery mindset all matter.
What you will do: Design and build AI-powered capabilities, prototypes, and POCs that enhance internal workflows and enable new product features - often in collaboration with other teams.
Explore and implement agentic systems, MCP integrations, and other automation frameworks to extend Hemnet's AI capabilities.
Collaborate across engineering, product, and other departments to turn promising ideas into production-ready solutions.
Integrate and evaluate AI APIs, open-source models, and internal data systems.
Contribute to best practices, share learnings, and help Hemnet evolve its AI capabilities.
Who you are
You blend solid engineering skills with curiosity and creativity. You don't need to tick every box - what matters most is your proven ability to build, learn fast, and collaborate.
You're a great fit if you've: Built production systems or smart automations that make a real difference.
Worked with Node.js / Next.js (TypeScript), Ruby, Go or Python
Explored the world of agents, LLMs, and emerging AI frameworks, and enjoy figuring out how to make them useful.
Communicated complex ideas clearly and collaborated effectively across teams.
It's even better if you've: Worked with frameworks like LangChain or AutoGPT, or built your own agentic tools.
Dabbled in orchestration, inference, or workflow automation.
You succeed here if you: Take initiative and deliver end-to-end - from idea to working solution.
Thrive in uncertainty and iterate quickly to find what works.
Mentor and uplift others.

Hello from your manager Hi, I'm Andreas and I lead the Enabler domain at Hemnet, which includes, besides this new AI enablement team, the Platform and Data/ML. My background spans engineering and product leadership in different types of organizations, and earlier in my career I worked hands-on with building products. As a manager, I want to create an environment where you feel trusted, supported, and able to do your best work. My role is to provide direction and clarity so the team can focus on the right challenges and make the greatest possible impact.
