We are seeking for a Food Operations Leader with focus on the food production and preparation. You are passionate about exploring new and innovative opportunities and have a great interest in finding more efficient ways of working. You do also have a passion for creating automated processes and strive to find digitalised solutions and tools. To succeed in this role, you have strong project management skills and experience of working with food operations (food production would be an extra advantage). You have a proven record of developing and implementing action plans, facilitating and developing trainings and reviews, providing directions and follow up on goals and have preferably IKEA experience from the country organisation. We believe you demonstrate well-developed strategic and analytical skills and get inspired by working with system management. You know how to prioritise and organise work to make the most efficient use of time and have strong communication skills. You have a proven record of senior leadership with a customer and consumer focused mind-set and the ability to influence, navigate and lead in a complex and fast changing environment.
You have knowledge in following areas:
• the IKEA Concept, Vision and Business idea, Culture and Values, IKEA Business Model and IKEA leadership
• the IKEA food operations and knowledge about sustainable operations
• IKEA operational compliance and food safety standards, HACCP and local food legislation
• on how to initiate, plan, execute, control and close cross functional projects
• about the market environment, expectations from the customers today and tomorrow
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
The main objective for this role is to drive food operational excellence leading to safe, consistent high food quality and a joyful customer experience within all customer and co-worker meeting points. You will support the markets to drive growth, improved profit and brand position by providing optimized, standardized and digitalized solutions, tools and ways of working for food operations. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert for one specific part of food operations - the food production and preparation.
You will:
• secure the implementation of the food operations strategy and contribute to the IKEA business plan
• provide operational standards, procedures, ways of working, solutions, tools and KPI in food operations
• identify opportunities with markets and other stakeholders to develop and improve food operations
• support market with specific development needs, share best practise and facilitate standardisation
• analyse food operations performance, act on deviations and initiate improvements
• act as a business expert/partner to provide food operations expertise to markets and other stakeholders
• work across functions within INGKA Group and collaborate with other IKEA companies
• ensure knowledge transfer and information sharing to, as well as between, the markets
• identify competence needs in partnership with Food CoE and act as a subject matter expert when developing learning solutions together with People & Culture
The role is located in Malmö and you will report to the Food Operations Manager.
