The Sweden Biomanufacturing Center (SBC) is a strategic investment to support the AstraZeneca biologic product portfolio. The new Drug Product manufacturing facility will have the capability to support the Astra Zeneca biologic commercial pipeline. Your area
SBC is in the final phase of qualification and validation projects and commercial production begins. The manufacturing organization consists of manufacturing team, warehouse team and the validation/engineering team. This role will be as a line manager for a team of process operators, and you will be a part of the manufacturing leadership team.
What you 'll do
As our First Line Manager your main responsibility will be to manage the inspection and packaging section at the facility. You will lead a team process operators. The clinical and commercial products will be filled in vials and syringes with a connected Lyophilization capability.
Since the factory is in a start-up your tasks will have vary over time, but prioritized tasks will be:

Delivering and securing a good and safe working environment.
*
Securing that the business is driven in accordance to cGMP and applicable laws.
*
Securing production delivery on plan for your area.
*
Collaborate and communicate with team members and all levels of management.
*
Being a good leader and having the People responsibility for process operators.
*
Coach and work with your team on continues improvements.
*
Securing that problems are dealt with systematically and in time.
*
Working with LEAN and improving current processes.
Essential requirements
*
Science/ engineering degree or many years of experience as a leader.
*
Experience in inspection, assembling and packaging.
*
Working with cGMP and inspection/packing processes for manufacturing.
*
Experience from working in cross-functional environments.
*
Strong leadership, project management and collaboration skills.
*
Great GMP-experience to be able to manage audits and sign GMP documentation.
*
Fluent in both Swedish and English.
Desirable requirements
*
Experience from start-up environments.
*
Knowledge and experience in validation, IQ OQ PQ.
*
Experience from working with LEAN and adhered principles.
