As a Financial Assistant you will be part of the Payables and Banking team which is a part of Stena Line Finance, a centralized function located in Gothenburg. In Payables and Banking we have responsibility for the invoice to pay process.
The payable process main tasks are scanning invoices, process invoices in our workflow system Palette, payments, contact with our colleagues within the Stena AB Group, contact with suppliers, reconciliation of supplier ledger and suspense accounts and month end closing.
In the Banking part of the team some of our responsibilities are bank reconciliations, internal and external payments, bank agreements, contact with banks, KYC, netting, liquidity planning for the Stena Line Group and change projects in the cash management area. We also have support from our robot Milton.

We are now looking for a Financial Assistant to join our Payables and Banking team.
Who you are

You are flexible but at the same time able to stay focused and deliver on your promises. Administrative tasks and numbers are in your comfort zone, but you would also like to work in projects.
Qualifications:
• High School degree in Business Administration/Economics or similar
• Experience from similar tasks in a Finance Department
• Language Swedish as well as English, written and spoken.
• Good knowledge in MS Office
• Bank experience is definitely an advantage
• Accounting experience

This is a fulltime, permanent position starting at soon as possible. You will be based in Gothenburg within our Payables and Banking team which are a part of our Finance Department.
