We at Volvo Buses in Borås can offer you a highly challenging position where you will be able to release your abilities. In this position you will work very close with the plant manager and management team but you will also be able to lead and support your very own team consisting of three very talented business controllers who reports directly to you.

Personal qualities
We are looking for an open-minded and driven team player who is articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills and high level of business acumen. Having a holistic mindset and good analytical skills are also key factors in this role as well as being highly organized and with a highly driven ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity. Further, you are motivated working independently and being able to think creatively and solution orientally with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
Drive cost awareness within Chassi Operations
Work with value-add activities, to develop the controller function
Be involved in the daily operation to understand and support business needs
Present results and figures for the Chassi Operations stakeholders monthly
Budget and forecasts for Chassi Operations and calculations for investments
Standard cost of Sales (SCS) for Chassi Operations products
Various analysis/trends for plant development, suggest corrective actions and implementation
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Accountant with experience in high volume (preferably automotive) manufacturing environment.
University degree within finance or other similar degree
3 years + experience in a finance position in a manufacturing environment.
Proven interpersonal and influencing skills especially in a cross-functional team.
Well-developed leadership skills with an excellent influencing capability.
High problem-solving skills with drive for continuous improvement.
Business oriented mindset with the ability to work both operationally and strategically
Ability to make financial figures understandable to non-finance persons and to have an E2E perspective
