The Finance Graduate Program
If you are up for the challenge of developing our future Finance function and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you! During 12 intense months, you will get an end-to-end perspective of our Finance functions and how we co-drive the business, both from a local as well as from a Volvo Group perspective. From day one, you will have a permanent role in one of our organizations, where you will play an active role in daily deliveries. In parallel, you will participate in a number of common training weeks with the other Finance graduates throughout the year, do various job rotations to increase your insights of the Volvo Group and last but not least you will grow as a person. Your professional and personal growth will be supported through individual and team development sessions, mentoring, coaching and feedback. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business, which will help you get a holistic view and build your future career within the Volvo Group. Besides your manager, who will guide and support you in your daily job, you will have a supportive network of peer graduates, colleagues across the globe and senior leaders to help you excel. At the heart of Volvo Trucks' Business Control Headquarters, the Finance Projects & Process Development team drives the transformation of how Finance operates across the organization. We're a passionate, forward-thinking group focused on building financial models, improving processes, and tools that power Volvo Trucks' global success. Our mission is to make Finance smarter, faster, and more future-ready - by combining deep financial expertise with strong project management, data governance, and digital innovation. We collaborate across functions and regions to design and implement improvements that truly make a difference - from global process harmonization to new automation tools and enhanced data insights.
How you will make an impact
In this role, you will play a central part in driving efficiency and digital transformation within our finance organization. Your contribution will help strengthen business control, improve data quality, and enable smarter, faster decision-making across markets and teams. Some of your responsibilities include:
• Identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and standardize finance processes across teams.
• Proposing digital solutions (e.g., advanced Excel models, Power BI dashboards, Power Query automation) to enhance business control routines.
• Reducing manual tasks and improve the accuracy and quality of financial data.
• Collaborating with finance, business, and IT teams to plan and structure long-term process improvement projects.
• Benchmarking digital tools and practices used by different finance teams and propose scalable solutions for broader implementation.

Qualifications for this role
* BSc or MSc in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or Information Systems.
* Experience in analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Data bricks.
* MS Office, especially Excel skills (formulas, PivotTables, etc.)
* Previous experience with data analytics or business control is a plus
* Maximum 2 years of full-time work experience prior to or after graduation, excluding work during studies.
* A valid study or work permit for the country of application (if not a citizen)
