The Powertrain Development Feature and Testing group is part of the Global Powertrain Development department that consists of Engine and Eats, Powertrain Installation, Driveline and Retardation groups.
The Powertrain Development Feature and Testing group is based in Gothenburg but supports all global activities within our responsibility. We are in total 25 people in the team today.
Within the team we have global feature ownership for fuel economy, drivability, noise, performance, fire safety as well as verification responsibility for complete powertrain and brake related functions, features and PAA.
We are now looking for a Feature engineer. In this role you will represent our team in different projects and work in close cooperation with the feature owners, verification engineers and system responsible within the department.
Responsibilities
Support stakeholders and System Design Engineer with requirement area competence
Analysis of operating condition
Translate targets as expressed by stakeholders to measurable requirement.
Responsible for feature requirement level and verification method in requirement specification
Distribute requirements in agreement with system responsible
Establish feature agreement with system responsible
Secure test agreement for feature on complete vehicle
Support project management in evaluation and balance of complete offer requirement.
Follow up and present project status on requirements
Qualifications:
Master degree or higher in mechanical engineering, physics or equivalent
5 years of experience from automotive engineering
Experience from project management is an advantage
Good analytic ability
Have a structured and communicative way of working
Be customer focused
English, both spoken and written.
