You have worked with Facility Management (FM) industry and have knowledge in the specialist area. You have the ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English. You have experience in a multi-unit FM organization, preferably in a high-volume retail sector.

You have knowledge in:

• business risk-, project- and change management
• FM scope and ways of working, know which services are included in the agreed Ingka FM service scope and understand the FM delivery model, as well as the position of FM within the Ingka business
• FM business processes
• International FM trends and development in the specialist area, understanding of how this can support Ingkas FM standards, manuals and rules
• sustainable operations transformation
• sustainability aspects in FM
• technical knowledge on buildings and equipment, technical understanding in all aspects of an Ingka Group building and connected equipment Understanding of asset management
• FM hard (technical) and soft services
• IT tools relevant for the specialist FM area

You have the ability in stimulating creative ideas and perspectives that add value. You have passion to develop virtual and other collaborative relationships to facilitate current and future objectives. You demonstrate general leadership ability and effectiveness. When processing information you are motivated to gather, organise, and analyse digital and other sources of information in an objective manner. You strive to meet quality standards and produce quality work products.

ABOUT THE JOB
This role enables Ingka to optimize the value and efficiency of each property in a safe, compliant and sustainable way according to the Ingka Real Estate scope by providing guidance and support, minimum requirements, standards, guidelines, methods and tools for FM.
You will:
• within defined area of expertise in FM, develop and implement standards, guidelines, methods, tools, sustainability best practise and innovation to ensure maintenance, optimization of value and efficiency of each property in a safe, compliant, sustainable and innovative way
• develop FM competence in Ingka in cooperation with relevant stakeholders and supporting functions
• follow up of permits, licences, certificates and reporting measures in order to stay compliant with local and international legislation
• within defined FM area deliver support and guidance to the clusters and countries, in context of each cluster organisation having direct responsibility for executing its business within the frameworks developed by Group Real Estate
• create an environment where the IKEA culture is strong and embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers
• secure and follow up that Ingka Real Estate policy, standards and guidelines relating to FM are implemented in the cluster Real Estate organisations
• co-ordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that specifications, standards, manuals etc. are consistent with other Ingka documentation, and correctly reflect current business needs
• implement FM best practice throughout Ingka
• develop FM specifications to incorporate developing technology being aware of Ingka's changing business needs
• facilitate FM benchmark (quality and cost) and identify learnings

We are looking for three Facility Management Leaders, one for each area; Centres, Energy, emissions & water management and Customer Fulfilment.
