The offer
As Expert IT Analyst, you'll be working with Big Data governance and architecture using Hadoop technologies to support Financial Crime Intelligence and Analytics in Nordea.
Compliance and anti-financial crime are top priorities for us at Nordea. In the Financial Anti-Crime IT (FACIT) we develop and provide solutions that support the bank to live up to regulatory requirements and act proactive in fighting financial crime. By this, we support Nordea's customer vision to be a safe and trusted partner.
What you'll be doing:
• Define technical design and solutions by capturing and documenting business requirements on big data and functionality.
• Analyse data, data ingestion, data processing and integration towards other systems.
• Assure agreement and requirement documentation according to Nordea standards.
• Assure good communication of requirements to internal and external stakeholders
• Assure that IT requirements are aligned with defined common Financial Anti-Crime Operating Model for the Nordea group.
• Resolve business questions and problems for applications during software development to secure a coherent solution design.
• Assure capturing and documentation of requirements on Group Functions IT in terms of being an IT provider to be used as basis for SLA and KPI's.
• Supporting development and test.

Your background:
• A high degree of understanding when it comes to Big Data, Hadoop technologies e.g. Elastic search.
• A high degree of relevant understanding of banking business.
• Understanding of statistical analytics (logistic linear regression), graph databases and machine learning basics
• Experience from Agile IT development such as Scrum.
• Experience from working with solutions based on software as a Service and/or Customer off-the-shelf applications.
• Knowledge in tools like, Mega JIRA, Confluence and QC.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics/Finance.
• Fluent skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience from working with banking regulations, and in e.g. AML and KYC, will be considered an advantage.
