hela Sverige Volvo AB is seeking an experienced Expert Battery Module Engineer to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. As an Expert Battery Module Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing high-quality battery modules for our electric vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and developing advanced battery modules for electric vehicles, ensuring they meet the required standards for safety, performance, and quality
Leading the development of new battery technologies and materials to improve performance and reduce costs
Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as the electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams to integrate battery modules into vehicle designs
Leading testing and validation of battery modules to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Providing technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers on battery module design and development
Staying up-to-date with the latest battery technology developments and industry trends
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 8 years of industrial experience in battery module engineering
Deep knowledge of battery technology and experience with advanced battery design and testing
Expertise in battery thermal management and electrical safety
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated experience leading battery module development from concept to industrialization.
