The Cab & Electronics Supplier Quality organization within Scania Purchasing is responsible for proactive & reactive quality assurance of current supplier product & processes. We are also contributing to new businesses by being a part of the supplier selection. Quality, Sustainability, and Efficiency are our keywords.
If you have some years of experience in the area of quality assurance of automotive parts, are curious, communicative, open-minded, and believe that there's always room for improvements, then this position is something for you!
What you will do
In this role, you will be working in the segment of plastic components and be an important contributor when it comes to supplier selections in new sourcing cases. You will be a team member in the development projects and make sure that suppliers are fulfilling Scania requirements and also monitoring and acting on the supplier's performance towards Scania production.
Cooperation with colleagues in the segment and from other departments of the company is vital as you need to share experiences and ideas throughout the project. You will also be a gatekeeper when it comes to introduction of new parts in Scania production. All of this you will do together with Scania purchasing, Research & Development, Scania production, and of course, our suppliers.
Who we are
We are a team of eight persons with diverse backgrounds working within the Cab interior/exterior segment of Scania Supplier Quality department. Since we are part of Scania purchasing, we cooperate very closely with our purchasing colleagues. This gives us strength in sharing experiences and knowledge.
Where we work
Our office is based in Södertälje, Sweden, but since our suppliers are present all over the world, traveling will be a part of the job as well. The need for traveling is mainly decided by you and you are also mainly in charge of planning the traveling so that it suits your situation.
