The RBS software design unit within PDU RBS develops software for the Ericsson multistandard basestation RBS6000.
We are responsible for control and configuration parts in the SW and have a challinging roadmap for the coming years in order to assure Ericssons continued leadership in mobile broadband radio networks. Our integration unit has an important role in driving software quality and speed of development within PDU RBS.
We are now searching for a new colleague with focus on SW integration.
The job includes:
Integration and troubleshooting of RBS SW products
Develop and maintain automatic tests
Involvement in Ericsson delivery chain
Test support to neighboring organizations
As a SW integrator you will enter an area which builds key competence. Being in the center of development with a closness to both design and I&V.
Integration gives a great overview of the system but also the possibilities to build expertise in spefic areas.
We work with agile principles and scrum/kanban as main processes.
Qualifications
You have experience from working with RBS, RNC and CPP.
You have at least 2 years experience from working as a software designer, system designer or with integration.
You have advanced knowledge and understanding of data communication
You have experience and interest in programming using languages such as C/C++ , JAVA and/or Perl.
You have experience in troubleshooting of RBSes or similar.
You have advanced experience in Erlang/OTP/Common test
You have advanced experience of LINUX and UNIX
You have experience from working with agile principles such as scrum/kanban
You have advanced oral and written English
Education
You have a masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent combined with understanding and/or experience in Telecom.
As a person
You have a passion for telecom, and as a person you are positive, outgoing and persistent with great social skills. Furthermore you are a selfmotivated strong teamplayer that enjoy problemsolving and complex technical problems. You are analytical and curious with deep debugging capabilities.
