What do we offer
We at Human Resources Volvo Car Torslanda (VCT) will support and facilitate the business transformation to meet the Performance Plan 2020 in strategical, operational and tactical HR deliverables. Volvo Cars Torslanda is the main plant for Volvo Cars large car models XC90, XC60, V90 and V60. Volvo Cars mission is to produce high quality cars in a stable, efficient and environmentally friendly production process. HR VCT supports the organisation on all production shifts.
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who will join a group of 10 HR BPs and 3 rehabilitation specialists. Together, the team support VCT in their change journey. The VCT HR team has the mission to drive the full people agenda in the management teams. The focus areas for HR VCT is leadership, culture, competence and health. To meet our targets, we are now seeking a committed and skilled HRBP person to our HR team in the Torslanda Plant.
Your key tasks
Your main responsibility will be to provide operational and tactical HR support to managers in the whole VCT organisation. Your key tasks will be to support and coach the managers and to participate in selected management teams.
In your everyday work you will support, train and coach managers in all HR related areas, such as leadership, culture, competence and health. Furthermore your job will include support in manning, labour relations and rehabilitation, as well as leadership- and organisation development and change activities.
You will execute HR deliverables in line with the respective units and you will be responsible for implementing and communicating HR policies, directives and processes.
You and your skills
To be successful in the role you have a university degree in Human Resources or similar and relevant experience. For example: rehabilitation, labour and change management. It is meritorious if you have experience from working with both salaried and hourly employees, and/or industrial environments.
On a personal level, you have the ability to deliver in time with high quality. You can plan and prioritise with a flexible mind-set. Furthermore, you have high integrity and good communication skills. You have the ability to work independently in a structured way. Of course, you have a curious mind-set and want to contribute to continuous improvements in all relevant areas. We also see that you are courageous and comfortable to challenge others. As the VCT organisation is running on all shifts, we expect you to occasionally be available also outside ordinary business hours. Our company language is English, and we believe you are fluent in English both oral and written.
