Position description:

Equipment Engineer Joining within Tooling and Equipment is a specialist team responsible for Robotics and Joining. We specify equipment related to robots and joining globally. Not only are we developing technical solutions but also Way of Working in our global environment. Joining equipment is launched through installation projects where we act as joining equipment engineers.
We are now searching for you who is passionate about securing high equipment performance, strives to secure standardized and lean solutions globally as well as creating strong relationships cross-functionally and will join our team.

Main responsibilities
• Represent the Robots & Joining team in installation projects by acting as joining equipment engineer
• Involve and utilize specialist competence within own team and specialist network
• Secure high equipment capability by being involved in design, installation, commissioning, test and start up. Disturbance follow up and optimization.
• Secure joining quality and equipment performance through all phases of a project by systematically using analytical methods and tools.
• Actively contribute to daily lessons learned

Skills and required experience:

Required qualifications
• Degree in Welding Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Experience in operating gluing systems
• SCA gluing system or Teamster system
• ABB RobotStudio
• Project experience
• Analytical skills, to be practiced in excel or other analyse tools. DMAIC experience.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written
• Ability to travel
• Driving license B
