YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We believe you have a technical university degree or similar and have experience from environmental work in an international organization, preferable from an electronics development or manufacturing company. You are self-going and self instructive and have the ability to collaborate across organizational borders. It is very important that you are very structured in your work and have a strong personal drive. You also have very good communication skills in English.
THE QUALITY & ENVIRONMENT UNIT

In order to maintain and further develop the environmental aspect of this we are now looking for a driven and highly capable Environment Engineer.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As Environment Engineer at Axis you will play an important role in the Quality team organized in the Operations department. In your role you will work closely with R&D and Purchasing making sure that we develop and supply products that meet the high standards that we demand. You will be the main interface both internally and externally in all environmental questions and errands. The environment responsibility also includes social responsibility issues such as working environments and working conditions at our suppliers and subcontractors. Your main task will include:
• External product registrations regarding environmental requirements for different markets
• Reports to different authorities regarding environmental effects
• Collect and co-ordinate environment information required in Requests for proposal/quotation from existing and potential customers
• Be updated on global regulations
• Plan for coming regulations; locally as well as globally
• Contribute to set general environment targets for the company
• Develop strategies for us to reach set targets
• Follow up results regularly from our suppliers as well as from our own operation
As Environment Engineer you will report to the Strategic Quality Manager.
