Production Logistics is part of Group Trucks Operations. We are an organization of approximately 750 employees, globally connected to deliver logistics solutions with world class operational excellence. We ensure that transportation is purchased, packaging is made available at our suppliers, material is transported to our production facilities, and vehicles are distributed to our customers on time. We design and optimize the Production Logistics supply chain for the Volvo Group, prepare logistics for new products and drive the Sales & Operations Planning process. End to End Production Logistics drive the strategy process and development to build a high performing integrated end-to-end production logistics supply chain. Furthermore we govern VPS, Quality & Environment, Project Portfolio Management, VOC and Industrial Plan for Production Logistics. The position Environment and Development manager reports to VP End to End Production Logistics.

Main activities and responsibilities

Environment Manager
• Formulate and drive the vision and roadmap for environment within the Production Supply chain
• Lead and develop the way of working relating to environment in GTO Production Logistics, drive digitalization possibilities internally as well as towards the suppliers/carriers
• Identify and select participation in focused initiatives including external research studies
• Participate in AB Volvo network and Supply chain networks
• Compile environmental KPI's from the organization on a monthly basis
• Secure target setting, definition and follow-up of environmental KPI's and compliance to ISO 14001

Strategy Development
• Initiate, drive and coordinate activities to implement the Production Supply Chain strategy
• Drive cross functional investigations and projects of strategic or organizational nature, covering different areas of the Supply Chain
• Represent Production Logistics in external partnerships, benchmark activities and innovation studies

Critical competencies for the position*University degree and/or MBA

• Strong business insight of the end-to-end production supply chain - Logistics, Transports and/or Manufacturing
• Experience or a strong interest in working with environmental impact of transports and logistics
• Knowledge of environmental management systems and experience of the ISO 14001 standard

Volvo Group Trucks Operations encompasses all production of the Group's engines and transmissions, as well as all production of Volvo, Renault and Mack trucks. The organization is responsible for spare parts supplies to the Group 's customers as well as for designing, operating and optimizing logistics and supply chain for all brands, production facilities and distribution centers where the Volvo Group operates.
