The Machine Directorate at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden, invites applications as EAM Manager in the Engineering and Integration Support Division (EIS).
The EIS division is the central technical division providing transversal support and services to the ESS subprojects and line organization. Today, the division is divided into 4 groups: Design & Engineering; Machine Engineering Services, PLM & Process support and Installation Support &Technical Infrastructure. Furthermore, the EIS division is responsible for Technical Information Management (TIM), which addresses the needs of organizing, finding, tracking, sharing, monitoring and reusing technical project information and communications in a way that allows complete traceability of the whole ESS over its lifecycle. The portfolio of TIM software is PLM, EAM and Design/Support tools. The HoD is the appointed TIM Manager and we plan to combine the existing position "TIM Program Manager" with the EAM manager role.
Description of main responsibilities
Directly reporting to the head of EIS division, the EAM Manager is responsible for:
• Owner of the EAM system at ESS
• Deliver and coordinate functionality and procedures concerning all asset and maintenance related items
• Prepare and propose features and functions for the EAM system and procedures linked to it
• Coordinate and run daily operations of the EAM system and mobile units used for EAM work, including all configuration and customizations
• Communication of activities dealing with asset and maintenance management to all ESS members
• Provide training in EAM system usage
• Lead and coordinate the implementation-activities for the Technical Information Management (TIM) defined by the TIM Steering Group and EIS division head
• Prepare and maintain the budget and activities for TIM Projects
• Chair the TIM Decision Forum that governs TIM projects execution according to the overall decisions made by the steering group
Required qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in enterprise asset management including implementation, configuration and stakeholder management (Infor EAM is a merit)
• 5-10 years of experience of project management towards IT software
• Good track-record of stakeholder management
• 3-5 years of experience in PLM and CAD software (3DExperience from Dassault Systems is a merit)

Duration & Location
The position is permanent with six months initial probationary period. Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
